Celia Jade Dearden-Briggs

Celia is a professional artist with 9 years experience, showing in exhibitions, publications and supporting collectives nationally over that time. The combination of her Ba (Hons) Fine Art degree and educational experience in Visual Communications, allows Celia to critically analyse work with the scrutiny of a designer, whilst having the free creative conceptual flow of a fine artist.

Her artist practice focuses on broad studies on sociology and psychology, taken from her own lived experiences and her secondary passion - people watching. Working in mixed media, she focuses on concept over medium, allowing the work to dictate the media used.

Celia's work often features a foreboding feeling and aims to immerse the viewer through subtle, but strong visceral edge to her art and literature.
